Now that the weather has warmed up, people will be eager to use their back yard fire pits. Remember you are responsible if something happens. Please take extreme caution when having a fire.
Make sure to:
Have a fire in an approved/inspected fire pit.
Not have a fire when it is windy.
Cover the fire pit with a grate.
Have some way to extinguish the fire if need be.
Be courteous to your neighbors and try to keep the smoke to a minimum.
