QUIK PICK BINS - DROP OFF

Beginning tomorrow, July 29, 2020 Quik Pick will be our recycling/garbage provider. They will be dropping off garbage bins starting Wednesday, July 29 2020 thru to July 31, 2020. The first pick up will be garbage on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. Calendars were provided in the last utility billing. They are also available at the Post Office and the Town Office along with Recycling Program guidelines. If you have any questions please call the office at 306-387-6340

NEW GARBAGE/RECYCLING CONTRACT - JULY 28, 2020

July 28, 2020 will be the final pickup of garbage/recycling bins for GFL. Please make sure your bin is on the curb regardless of whether you have garbage or not, and leave your bin out as GFL will be coming around and picking up the bins afterwards.

The bins will be dispersed by Quik Pick later in the week with the new schedule starting August 4, 2020 with garbage.

The new schedule was included in your July/August Utility Billing. New schedules can be picked up at the Post Office of Town Office.

Drinking Water Quality & Compliance Annual Notice to Consumers

In accordance with Section 44 of the Water Regulations 2002, the Town of Marshall hereby notifies consumers that the information on the quality of water supplies to residents and compliance to “sample submission requirements” is now available at the Town Office located at 17 Main Street during the business hours of 9:00 am-12:00 pm 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Monday - Friday.

Update - Partial Fire Ban

The Partial Fire Ban has been lifted as of May 25, 2020.

Legacy Regional Protective Services has issued a partial Fire Ban. This means the following:

The ban is applied to all open burning of any outdoor fires that may create a public safety hazard, including but not limited to: Prescribed burns commonly referred to as controlled burns and fireworks.

Open Burning does not include: Fireplaces within buildings, campfires, recreational fires, fire pits, fire rings, barbecue grills and smokers as per Bylaw 03-2019.
