"NEW" SPEED BUMP INSTALLED
Please be advised a new speed bump has been placed on Railway Avenue across from the Marshall Hotel and the Sasktel Building.
New signs have been ordered and will be installed as soon as possible. The speed bump is 2 3/4 inches high spread over 4 feet.
Partial Road Closure - June 09, 2020
Please be advised that culvert work will be taking place across Railway Ave by the Sasktel Building next to the Marshall Hotel. The work will commence on Tuesday, June 09, 2020. The road will be blocked off but the truck turnaround will be available for use to get from each side of Town to Hwy 16.

Effective Immediately, 1st Street East between 2nd and 3rd Ave is closed due to soft roads. Please use an alternate route.
Wood/Steel -Spring Clean - Up Bins
The big bins for wood/steel will be located across from the post office, like last year, on May 23 & 24, 2020 to help all the properties in town to do some spring cleaning.

Update - Partial Fire Ban
The Partial Fire Ban has been lifted as of May 25, 2020.
Legacy Regional Protective Services has issued a partial Fire Ban. This means the following:
The ban is applied to all open burning of any outdoor fires that may create a public safety hazard, including but not limited to: Prescribed burns commonly referred to as controlled burns and fireworks.
Open Burning does not include: Fireplaces within buildings, campfires, recreational fires, fire pits, fire rings, barbecue grills and smokers as per Bylaw 03-2019.
Hydrant Flushing
Please be advised that the Town will be flushing out the hydrants on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 and Wednesday, May 13, 2020. You will experience brown water and lose water pressure. Please be patient as it will clear up and refrain from using water, unless absolute necessary. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

GFL Waste & Recycling Collection and COVID-19
In light of COVID-19, please BAG all waste within bins, and no OVERLOADING bins. Continue to practice SOCIAL DISTANCING from GFL employees.
Waste - all contents must be bagged, no overloading bins, Lids MUST BE FULLY CLOSED
Blue Bag - no used tissues and medical waste (must be placed in the waste cart)
Social Distancing must be observed if interacting with the service provider
